Circle-8, via the ACT UK project, is looking for a site to host what will be the first Automated Textile Sorting and Pre-processing facility (ATSP) in the UK. The ATSP will bring significant opportunities to the region where it will the located and the UK.
Our ambition reaches beyond textiles circularity and we are excited to find a symbiotic location, with renewable energy, within an eco-park and potentially in proximity of other industries that could form part of our ecosystem. We would welcome a conversation to evaluate levels of interest regarding locating the ATSP in your region. Working with UKFT, our aim is to have a shortlist of site proposals from early January 2024, with a view to commissioning site feasibility studies and final site selection by March 2024.
